Bryan King, born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina, graduated from UNC-Charlotte and began his career with First Union Bank in 1994. As part of the Capital Management Group’s Special Asset Management team, Bryan was involved in the development and growth of the bank’s third-party valuation group. Upon the bank’s merger with Wachovia in January of 2001, he and several co-workers established a boutique business valuation firm, Enterprise Value Consulting (EVC). Their firm worked in many areas of business valuation with a focus on estate planning and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

The team at EVC changed over the years, and in 2014, Bryan went to work for a regional CPA firm when his remaining partner expressed his intention to retire. While Bryan’s work included valuation services for estate planning clients, his focused shifted to include litigation and family law engagements.

Bryan worked at the CPA firm until he and Rob Snowden discussed working together at the Estate Planner’s Day at Queens University in the Spring of 2019. In the niche market of business valuation, Rob and Bryan had been friendly competitors, and now, they had an opportunity to partner. With his deep networking roots in Charlotte and entrepreneurial spirit, their partnership was a natural one. As Bryan says, “we are stronger together.” Bryan joined South Park Advisors in July 2019.

Bryan lives in Weddington, North Carolina with his family. You can learn more about his professional experience here.
